I am off to meet the man of my life. I need to look beautiful and be his long-awaited wife.
Now which color should I use? Blue? Green? Pink? Chartreuse?
Lots of pretty colors, don't know what to choose.
My blings look intricate, and sparkly, and precious as ever. They are a tad heavy, but I can't be bothered.
Look at my regalia, so detailed and well-made.
Oh flowers! How nice! Would their scents fade?
No, am not crying. Yes, I am lying.
My heart just can't contain all this loving.
"You look so beautiful!" My mom, exclaimed. "I love you, Mom!" Was all I uttered.
I also offered a little prayer for my the deities in my head.
To guide my covenance, and my man, and my life ahead.
One last look before I go.
To meet the man who I love dearly so.
At a distant temple, that's huge and wide
My man will meet me and make me his bride.
At a place where covenants take place
This one stunning temple is a heavenly place.
Hundreds come and everyone gathered. All in lovely delicate robes, and prayers they offered.
Here's my man, saying his invocation
And here I come with dedication.
As I sit down, I offer a prayer too.
I am just so content to be with you.
This long and beautiful tie that binds, connects us as I follow you reverently behind.
And then there's silence...
Finally, we're married. Both sides agreed.
(Curtains closing) Woot! Woot! I would like to thank this wonderful couple for sharing these precious moments with me, and for choosing to me to cover their extravagant and unforgettable wedding day! Love you Billy and Ally! :) Your parents, family members and friends made me feel so welcome during the time I was covering your four day event. Everyone wanted me to eat, eat, and eat! I just love them!
And to Tara, of Pinkstar Photography, for helping me all throughout this couple's wedding days.
Love love love. More photos below! :)
